Shawn O'Haver
Capt. Shawn R. O’Haver MSN, ACNP-AG USAF completed his graduate studies at Grand Canyon University in 2016 focusing on the care of adults with a specialization in geriatric medicine. His love of medicine started with his time as a medic in the U.S. Army. He was also a Registered Nurse for 16 years with much of his experience in emergency medicine, cardiac catheterization lab and surgery. Since becoming a Nurse Practitioner he has worked within a surgical practice, urgent care, and primary care offices. He has focused on providing exceptional care to the community and continues to strive for excellence with a characteristic zeal for knowledge. He holds special interest in veterans care, wound care, weight management and geriatric medicine.
Shawn has had extensive training, experience, and clinical studies for:

The extreme variations in medical care and patient dissatisfaction are what drove him to become a Nurse Practitioner. He strives to provide exceptional committed service to underserved populations that have historically been marginalized. He is currently an Air Force officer with the 944th MDS at Luke AFB in Glendale Az., which allows him the opportunity to continue serving this country. He volunteers regularly with several non-profit organizations such as the American Red Cross and Feed Our Children.
Shawn is married to his practice partner and life partner of 18 years, they have 3 great kids, 6 Shih Tzu dogs and 1 angry old cat. When they are not working, they like to spend time with friends and family doing things that make memories. Shawn loves to make costumes and is an advanced cosplayer who also enjoys PC gaming. If he could have all patients do one thing it would be to live the life that you want to live and take care of yourself every day.
